Blokus is a geometric and spatial strategy board game for the whole family.
Blokus is a game with simple rules that take 1 minute to learn "Only the corners of your colour pieces can touch!" It is enjoyable for both experts and beginners. We found that for 2 players, children find that Blokus classic is too slow moving and can lose interest. So if you are going to play in twos we strongly recommend buying Blokus Duo. However, for 3 and more playersBlokus is great fun. Although age is 7+ during panel testing boys as young as 5 were able to play and enjoy the game. Age 7+, 2-4 players, 20 mins playing time Learn More (New: 05/10/2009) |

Labyrinth is a children's board game which develops strategy, spatial and sequencing skills.
The rules of Labyrinth are not as simple as some of the other games on our site. It takes 5 -10 mins not the 1-2 mins of Blokus, Qwirkle etc. For this reason we would not recommend its as a first game. However, it is a fiendish game where you plot your path to your treasre. But there's a twist! The structure of the Labyrinth game can change at any time as players manipulate the course to either make a path easier for themselves, or block that of an opponent. The board appears partly complete with fixed pieces of the Labyrinth. Age 7+, average game time 20-25 mins. Learn More (New: 30/09/2009) |
