Learning Toys & Games
Learning toys are a brilliant way to help children learn, practice and develop essential social and cognitive thinking skills. Toys, active play and fun are very effective in teaching these life skills. As more and more is discovered about the human brain it is clear that learning in a natural way is best. At pre-school and early primary stages (2,3 ,4 ,5, 6 and 7 yeas old) the natural way to learn is through active play. These are skills like problem solving, paying attention, trial and error. Unfortunately, they are not studied at primary school and are difficult to teach without hands on play. However, they provide the foundation for how well children will learn in the future. Our range of learning toys help to develop these skills without children ever realising.
Science Toys for Kids
Science for kids can be daunting and difficult when they start science KS2 and science KS3 at school. Science education can be made more fun and accessible with the right science experiments for kids, science projects and science resources. Our range of science gifts are fun and inspiring with award winning science toys and science kits. We have a range of science kits for kids from Horrible Science, John Adams Toys, Eino, and Quercetti toys. These science sets range from electronics kits, chemistry sets, educational science, planetariums, software and engineering toys.
Primary Maths Games
There is now compelling evidence that certain kinds of primary maths games boost pre school and primary school maths skills. Developing these skills early are strongly predictive of mathematical achievement and scores later in life. Our selection of primary maths games are appropriate for both key stage 2 maths (KS2) and key stage 1 (KS1). Collins primary maths, espresso primary maths, and worksheets are good examples of strong primary maths resources and numeracy resources.
