This educational game helps students practice comprehension skills with instant, interactive reinforcement. This is an English skill where boys tend to be weak. The electronic and interactive nature when used with the Hot Dots pen encourages boys to practise.

A collection of 50 stories covering National Curriculum Attainment Levels 1 to 5 for Years 2 to 6. This set helps children identify supporting details in order to understand the main idea of each story. Children can touch their answer with a Hot Dots Pen for immediate voice or SFX feedback. The cards can be used without Hot Dots Pens as an answer key is included.

How it works...

There are 50-stories covering 10 reading selections for each reading level, from Year 2 to 6. After reading the story on the front of the card, the student flips it over to tackle four multiple-choice questions designed to test specific reading comprehension skills. The student can touch his answer choice with a Hot Dots Pen for immediate, or can write down his answer choices and check them against the included answer key. Stories include many genres aligned to reading standards. These fascinating Hot Dots-powered story cards are the perfect tool to challenge young students and hone reading comprehension skills.
