Ingenious is a strategy board game for the whole family, it is easy to learn, quick to play and beautifully made. Ingenious game has an infinite number of strategies and because of the clever scoring system, every game will pose a unique challenge. Ingenious game play involves scoring points by placing coloured tiles on the hexagonal board, all the while trying to block your opponents and avoid being blocked off.

You have a hexagonal-shaped board with domino-like pieces which are a combination of 6 colours. You place pieces next to the appropriate colour pieces to score points, based on how many of the same color are lined up in a row from the piece you placed. If you place a blue piece next to a row of three blue pieces, you score three points for blue. This works in all directions, so you can score a bunch of points on a single play. The maximum score for each colour is 16.

You have to play all colours as your lowest scoring colour is the one that decides the winner.
