View a video of how to play...
You choose a card, set up the vehicles as pictured, you slide vehicles around so you can slide your ice cream van around the other vehicles to escape the jam.
This junior version is enjoyable because it has more of the easier challenges. Instead of a sports car there is a an ice cream truck which you have to save. Just like the classic Rush Hour game, you shift the blocking cars and trucks out of your way to clear a path to the exit. 40 challenges ranging from beginner (One Scoop) to expert (Banana Split).
Our panel of boys understood the concept of the game after a couple of goes and were able to sit and play unsupervised for long periods of time.
Playful vehicles including a police car, fire truck, bus & jeep and simpler, age-appropriate challenges will keep kids amused.
Develops sequencing skills- cars must be moved in a sequence to win, you might not find the correct sequence first so a sequencing pattern is built up throughout the game.
Develops visual spatial skill - visualising moves before hand
Develops confidence & concentration skills - with age appropriate challenges so winning is rewarding in itself
Fine Motor Skills - manipulating the cars on the board
Age: 6-8
