You use it with the book of your choice. You type in the code of the book you are using. You can start at any of the 80-100 questions. Questions are in a multiple choice format (A to D) and the handset tells you instantly if you have got the answer right or wrong. You cannot move onto the next question untill you get the right answer. It keeps track of your score and you can stop at the end of any question to get your score. This is very motivating for boys as they try to beat their highest score.
